Frequently Asked Questions
What surfaces can be pressure washed?
Concrete driveways, paths, pool surrounds, exposed aggregate, brick pavers, and commercial car parks. Not appropriate for surfaces with existing cracks or spalling, freshly poured concrete under 28 days old, or pavers with failing sand joints — water will wash the joints out entirely.
Will pressure washing damage my concrete?
Professional-grade equipment at the correct PSI for the surface type does not damage sound concrete. Damage occurs when high pressure is applied to concrete that is already compromised — cracks, spalling, or soft spots. We assess the surface condition before starting and will tell you if cleaning risks making an existing problem worse.
Can you remove oil stains from a driveway?
Fresh oil responds well to a commercial degreaser pre-treatment followed by pressure washing. Old oil that has been baking into concrete for years is harder — the stain may lift to 80–90% clean but full removal is not always possible. We tell you what is achievable before we start, not after.
Do I need to be home for the job?
No. We need access to a tap and clear access to the area being cleaned. Most clients leave a note with tap location and let us get on with it.
